This is the second post from my trip. Nestled in the mountains of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is this awesome waterfall Laurel Falls. It is accessible by a paved trail that takes you on a 2 mile round trip to this scenic view. I am still in the process of going through my collection of images from the trip so I will keep adding them here and on my flickr page as well. I recently got back from a 4 state road trip. I took so many pictures it’s gonna take me awhile to go through them all! This shot is of Mingo Falls. This breathtaking waterfall is located in Cherokee, North Carolina. At about 120 feet it is one of the tallest in the area. It is absolutely amazing to see in person. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park lived up to its name while I was there as it was foggy just about everyday. A few days it stayed that way the entire day! I will be posting more pics soon so stay tuned as I am trying to get back to my postaweek2011 challenge.
