1948 Chevy Convertible

I like to hit a lot of the local weekly and nightly cruise-ins. This one in particular is every Tuesday night at the Prime Time restaurant. Jan’s Cruizin is a great place to see some awesome cars. I think classic cars and HDR photography go together really well. I prefer to take my bracketed shots on a tripod just to insure there is no movement between shots. This is a 3 exposure HDR. Please feel free to leave me a comment – I always respond and appreciate them!

Rust

I was driving past this rusty old water tower and had to turn around to get some shots. The sun was hitting it at just the right angle and lighting it up real nice. This is a 3 exposure handheld HDR.

The Revolver

This is a 100 foot tall ferris wheel located at Fun Spot Action Park in Orlando, Florida. I saw this as I was driving down the interstate and I knew I needed to stop and shoot it. I really liked the vibrant colors and the little mushroom head with the water flowing off it.

Hope Fellowship Baptist Church

I came across this church while driving down some backroads. It’s located in Campville, Florida which is a small town just East of Gainesville. The front is in need of repair but I really liked the architectural styling of the building. As near as I can find the church was built around 1899.  I really love old churches and I think they lend themselves to being shot in HDR.

Antiques @ 206

This is the Baytree Trading Company located at 206 Northeast 1st Street in Micanopy, Florida. Micanopy is a small town just South of Gainesville. It’s known as the town that time forgot and is full of old buildings. There are antique stores and ice cream shops and an organic bakery. I had to sample it and I would make the trip up there again just to eat there! The movie Doc Hollywood was filmed there as well. Definitely a very unique and charming town with a lot of history.
