I had a great time Saturday shooting lots of pictures and meeting new people. The weather cooperated and gave us some beautiful clouds. The rain stayed away so we got a lot of picture taking time. I went to the Tarpon Springs, Florida Photowalk in the morning and the Sanford , Florida photowalk in the evening. The tall ship Gloria from Columbia participated in the “Sail Tampa Bay 2010 International Maritime Festival.” The boat was docked behind The Tampa Bay Convention Center.

I went to Tampa this afternoon to shoot some pictures of the ships. There was a decent sized crowd when I got there, but not too bad to get some nice shots. I will work on some pics over the next few days and post some HDR’s on here as soon as they’re ready.

Located in the Magic Kingdom theme park at Disney World in a secluded area is “The Fairytale Garden.” It’s actually used for a live show called “Storytime with Belle.” It had been raining most of the day and had stopped just long enough for me to take a few shots. The lanterns really caught my eye and I knew I had to capture this scene in a way that showed the essence of the area.
